Selby Renewable Energy Park

Selby Renewable Energy Park has transformed an area of the former Tate & Lyle Citric Acid Plant in Selby into one of the UK’s leading renewable energy plants.
Intandem were appointed by Selby Renewable Energy Park to organise and facilitate the public consultation process that preceded the application for planning permission, including:
- Researching and writing public consultation documents
- Obtaining and translating planning views from local and county stakeholders
- Production of display and printed materials for consultation meetings
- Co-ordinating media information and consultation
The success of the overall campaign resulted in planning permission for the project being obtained in July 2009.
“Intandem created a professional image for the Park and gained positive media coverage, which was undoubtedly a huge influence in obtaining planning permission.”
Shaun Flynn, Business Development Manager , Selby Renewable Energy Park
